The Bednja music

The music characteristic for the Bednja region is created by five instruments: three violins, double bass and cimbalon. This was the traditional set of instruments for centuries. The Bednja dialect is used in most of the songs. The most popular band which plays the traditional Bednja music is “Kavaliri” from Bednja. Every year in July the traditional Ethno-festival in Cvetlin is held. It has a 20-year-long tradition and every year it is more and more popular.
